Nicholas Carter

Nicholas Carter is a Staff Appraiser with Hamilton, Ricci & Associates. His primary market areas include the San Francisco Bay Area and other regions of Northern and Southern California. Mr. Carter is a Candidate for Designation with the Appraisal Institute, a member of the Urban Land Institute and holds a California Certified General Real Estate Appraisal License.

Prior to returning to Hamilton, Ricci & Associates, Mr. Carter was a Valuation Services Director at Colliers International where he helped found the CIVAS office in San Francisco. He has provided appraisal and consulting services for litigation support, tax appeal, eminent domain, right of way, development feasibility, arbitration, lending and foreclosure support.

Mr. Carter grew up in San Diego and attended both the University of California at Irvine and the University of Southern California. He completed his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at USC. Mr. Carter began his appraisal career at the Bay Area Real Estate appraisal and consulting firm Carneghi-Blum & Partners, Inc., where he gained experience working with a variety of property types for a wide array of financial, legal and consulting clients.
